Vaak denk je dat een directie wel ziet dat jij en jouw medewerkers het druk hebben en dat er iets moet veranderen. Toch is dit niet altijd zo. Sterker nog; wanneer jij niks aangeeft, verandert er ook niks. Maak inzichtelijk waarom automatisering nodig is. Waar praten we over? Welke aantallen en hoelang duurt iets? Geen enkele ondernemer of directeur zal ‘nee’ zeggen tegen een automatiseringsvoorstel als dit hem geld bespaart of extra omzet oplevert. Maak inzichtelijk hoeveel geld dit bespaart of oplevert!

Maak het concreet

Doe bijvoorbeeld een nulmeting. We zijn hier nu x tijd mee bezig, maar als we plan A uitvoeren, dan scheelt dit x tijd en financiën. Jij hebt de kennis om dit soort dingen te meten. Immers meten is weten. Wanneer jij met goede cijfers aankomt wat de investering oplevert, kun je de ROI [Return On Investment] aantonen. Wat nu niet efficiënt is, kun je door middel van meten laten zien. Zoals de maandelijkse facturatie-run waar je twee dagen mee bezig bent en door te automatiseren wordt dit 10 minuten. Dan heb je daar de ROI.

Een stap terug

We snappen ook dat je vanwege de werkdruk het moeilijk vindt om een stap terug te doen om een nulmeting uit te voeren. Alleen om 3 stappen vooruit te komen, moet je soms 1 stap terug doen. Plan met je zelf tijd in om te bekijken wat je kan automatiseren. Welke belastende taken kun je veranderen?
